With it, you can:
-- Get full control of lighting conditions, focus, and other camera functionalities. Since conditions in operating rooms usually differ from other environments, regular cameras fail to adjust to them. The MicroREC app was specifically designed to take images in hospitals.
-- Stop messing photos of your family or pet with videos taken from your slit lamp. The MicroREC app keeps images secure and separated from personal files in a dedicated memory space.
-- Rotate images by 90 degrees. The optics of some microscopes rotate the image seen on the smartphone, and the MicroREC app allows you to control that.
-- Choose your video quality. We can facilitate video recordings in up to 8k if your smartphone has that capacity. But when you have a long surgery and don’t want to occupy too much memory, you can reduce the video size and get a smaller file.
-- Disable sound when needed so no one will hear your private conversations.
Plus, with the help of Zoom or other video conferencing apps, you can even broadcast your surgeries or examinations live, to share with students or other physicians.
